WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT

ARTI believes that women’s empowerment is made possible through capacitating women with knowledge and through skill development. ARTI provides women skills and confidence necessary to earn a livelihood and lead a healthy and dignified life.

Providing education for women helps raise their levels of health and nutrition and also reduces fertility rates. Education increases their self-confidence and enables them to earn a livelihood. Women will have a say in the local policies that have a bearing on their lives.

Education also empowers women to make informed decisions on issues concerning life choices of themselves and also their family members. When women have the authority to make their own decisions regarding the use of their resources, it is usually seen that, their families and communities also prosper.
